Tom Foley

Weather Router

Tom is a fellow Ironman Athlete and Surveyor, former Navy Diving Officer AND was a crew member within Fortitude IV who took part in the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge 2019. They not just took part, they absolutely smashed it, winning the race in 32 days 12 hours and 35 minutes.

Tom has experience under his belt both on the water and weather routing. He will be our sounding board whilst out in the Atlantic, advising us on weather, kit, strategy and ultimately our success during the crossing.

He is acting as our land based eyes and ears while we row.

Dawn Woods

Advisor & Mentor

Dawn is simply the best!

Yatchmaster, police boat skipper, RYA instructor and teacher, multiple Atlantic ocean rower and Pacific ocean rower! She is the leading lady of ocean rowing and outstanding human being! We have been fortunate enough to have Dawn on hand to mentor us during our training and guide us through all those "silly" questions relating to ocean rowing. But more importantly she has been our friend, supporter, cheer leader and advocate.
